5 Beauty Products That Make Perfect Stocking Stuffers

5 Beauty Products That Make Perfect Stocking Stuffers

It's officially December! If you're like me, your brain is in full force Christmas mode — decorating, baking, and searching for the best gifts for your favorite people. Makeup might not be the first thing that comes to mind when brainstorming gift ideas, but I personally think it's a great idea! If you don't want to give beauty products as gifts under the tree, they make perfect stocking stuffers.

I chose these five products to share today because I'm currently obsessed with all of them!

My sister actually introduced me to the COVERGIRL Total Tease mascara. Beauty tip: I always, always use two kinds of mascaraI just feel like it's the only way to make my lashes look and feel full and long. I've been using this one on top of my everyday go-to Tarte mascara, which I've talked about  previously in an older beauty post. The wand on this particular mascara is great because it has one side with long, hard bristles and on the other side, it has a bumped out group of bristles, which makes it so easy to get my corner lashes flared out. Another thing I love about the comb is that is separates nicely, getting rid of any clumps!

This BECCA under eye cream has been a lifesaver for me! I've always had dark circles under my eyes — always. I've researched so many ways to get rid of them, but in the end, I really think they are a genetic thing. Although this cream doesn't fix dark circles, it definitely helps hide them. I've always used concealer there, but I notice sometimes it fades throughout the day. Even with this corrector, I still use concealer. My personal opinion is that this cream not only brightens but also helps my concealer and coverage last all day. It's also a good, quick solution if you're going for a natural, makeup-less look but still want to cover those pesky dark circles.

I honestly can't remember how I discovered this Biossance oil — I want to say it was through Instagram. Go figure! I have come to love this brand and I really want to try more of their products. Through their site, you can choose from three different sample sets — each containing two small items — to try for free. You only have to pay for shipping! The sample set I got had this Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil and the Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel. I really like the way both of them feel on my skin. And I would definitely recommend trying both, especially the one pictured here.

It goes on so smooth without feeling too oily, even though it is an oil. My skin feels fresh and soft and it has a nice odor to it, too. Although I can't attest to long-term visible changes from it just yet, I can say that it makes my skin feel and look softer and it makes me feel better about my skin, which is a definite win.

Oh my goodness, this Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb — I love it! In these photos, I put it on my natural lip, but it looks so great on top of nudes and pinks, too. This is the first Fenty Beauty product I've tried and because I already love it so much, I know I definitely want to try more. The shimmery peachy-orange color creates such a beautiful natural sheen!

Last but not least, the Tarte Shape Tape matte foundation. This is by far hands-down my favorite foundation I've ever tried! It's a full-coverage foundation, which I like, but it doesn't feel or look heavy on the skin. The screw-off lid has a built-in wand on it, which makes applying it mess-free. I use the wand to place foundation on areas of my face, and then I use a flathead foundation brush to buff it in everywhere.

I love the matte, which is the one pictured here, but I also have the hydrating foundation. I have combination oily-dry, acne-prone skin, so for me, alternating between using the matte and hydrating foundations works for my skin. I do think the matte covers better, but when my skin is feeling too dry, I opt for the hydrating one.

I really do stand by all of these products and truly think they'd be a nice surprise for any makeup lover!

  2. Keto diet to lose weight
The ketogenic diet, popularized in the 1920s as a treatment for epilepsy, has resurfaced as a weight-loss strategy. The keto diet is a high-fat, low-carb diet that forces the body to burn fat instead of carbohydrates for energy. Studies have shown that people who follow a keto diet are more likely to lose weight and improve their cholesterol profiles than those on other diets. Read more here
