21-Day Fitness Challenge: Day 4

Today was a busy day! Right after work I went straight to the gym, then ran home to hop on my bike and head to volleyball ... and then played three games of sand volleyball. So, it's 9:30 and I'm just now getting home.

At the gym I did chest and triceps. And if you guys don't know what these are — because full disclosure, I wasn't sure what the name of all of them are either — I linked to some examples so you can get a visual!

Cable bicep curls at 30 lbs: 10 reps x 3 sets

High cable chest flies at 30 lbs: 10 reps x 3 sets

Tricep pushdowns at 70 lbs: 10 reps x 3 sets

Incline close grip chest press with 20 lb dumbbells: 10 reps x 3 sets

Alternating bicep curls with 20 lb dumbbells: 15 reps x 3 sets

Cable tricep extensions at 15 lbs: 20 reps (10 each arm) x 3 sets

Biking was buggy and muggy thanks to the extra humidity from the storm last night. Volleyball was also buggy, muggy, and the sand was wet, so we all got pretty dirty. But if you're wondering, we won! It was a good day, but I need to get some rest because I'm trying to make it to the gym at 6 am tomorrow — that's not a common thing for me.
