I live in the small city of Des Moines, Iowa, with my husband Tad and our cat Fritz. Ever since I can remember I've had a passion for clothes, home decor and makeup. I think it stems from being the youngest of three girls — I was constantly stealing my sisters' clothes and putting on my mom's makeup. My passion for home design and decor definitely comes from my mom. She has always been a super handy DIYer — refinishing furniture, building furniture, tiling, really taking on any renovation project willingly — which has always inspired me.
