21-Day Fitness Challenge: Day 19

Nearing the end of my 21-Day Fitness Challenge, I was finding myself getting busier and busier. So, I decided to get up early before work and go for a run. One of my roommates and I went to Gray's Lake together, which is just a mile south of where we live. When we got there, we realized our other roommate was already there walking her dog!

The trail around the lake is just under two miles, so I kept running till I hit exactly two. I know, I know, two miles isn't super far, but I didn't just jog it — I pushed myself. Like I've told you guys before, I don't run a whole lot anymore, but growing up a competitive runner, I know how to pace and push myself.

I ran two miles in just under 17 minutes, which for me and the shape I'm in, isn't too bad. It was also amazing weather for a run and the trail is flat ... add some hills in there and this would be a different blog post!

It really did feel good to get out there and run harder.

xoxo

However, there are some general guidelines you can follow when deciding when to take melatonin. Ideally, you should take melatonin before bedtime if you’re struggling to get enough sleep overall.

Additionally, if you have a history of anxiety or depression, taking melatonin before bed may help improve your sleep quality. Other important details about taking the supplement are further discussed in this article so continue reading!
